One of the most common "bigger" Fox Body mods is an aftermarket intake manifold. The factory manifold is usually restrictive and porting or swapping in a new aftermarket manifold increases horsepower and torque drastically compared to other mods. 1986-1993 Mustang stock alternators suffer from small wiring and low output, and the power wire plug is prone to melt and even cause an underhood fire.
