For a professional, long-lasting paint job on interior plastics, proper surface preparation is essential. SEM and LMR offer a range of solutions to ensure excellent paint adhesion. Use SEM Sand Free Adhesion Promoter for ABS, PVC, and similar plastics where sanding is difficult. Its wet-on-wet application melts color into the substrate for a strong bond. For polypropylene, olefin, and TPO plastics, SEM Adhesion Promoter provides a reliable grip without surface distortion. Before painting vinyl surfaces like dash or armrest pads, SEM Vinyl Prep & Cleaner removes contaminants and promotes adhesion by softening the surface. Finish the prep with our Gray Sealer Paint, a primer that fills light abrasions and provides a factory-matched base coat for hard plastic and bare metal parts, ideal for touch-ups or full interior revamps.
LMR.com offers a single aerosol can for these smaller paint projects for minor touch-up applications. One of our individual cans will provide you with enough paint to cover approximately 10-12 sq/ft, depending on coat thickness and the number of coats applied. Our individual cans are mixed in-house at LMR.com; this interior paint is made with quality SEM brand paint toners and flexing agents. We provide industry-leading color matching for all of your late-model Mustang and Lightning.
LMR.com offers our aerosol can kit for interior projects needing additional coverage. This kit includes two individual cans of our quality in-house mixed interior paint for up to 24 sq/ft of coverage.
For larger coverage needs, LMR.com offers our Mustang and Lightning interior pint kits. Each of these pints will provide you with enough paint to cover approximately 60 sq/ft of interior space, depending on coat thickness and the number of coats applied. LMR.com includes a Preval sprayer system to deliver a superior finished product compared to other application methods. Like our aerosol cans, these pint kits will be mixed in-house here at LMR.com and provide you with the closest aftermarket match to OEM factory colors. If you plan on a complete restoration or a color change on your interior, we have these in a kit with two pints to cover up to 120 sq/ft.
