Airaid MXP Air Intake System - GT An Airaid MXP Air Intake System for your 1999-2004 Mustang GT will add performance & increase horsepower. This is a great way to add extra fuel mileage and power to your Mustang. Airaid's high-flow cold air kit is designed to take the place of the existing factory air intake system with few modifications necessary! Airaid MXP Air Intakes start with a replacement one-piece roto-molded air inlet tube that addresses the downfall of the restrictive factory design. The blue high-flow air filter brings in more air and features a plastic heat shield to keep this incoming air cooler. Black in color helps to match other underhood components.
Airaid Intake Kits Airaid cold air intake systems are specifically designed to take full advantage of today's high-performance Mustang technology, thereby increasing the Modular 4.6 2V engine efficiency and horsepower output. Their unique inlet and track filter combination is substantially less restrictive when compared to OEM-type air boxes, improving airflow by up to 20 percent and power by as much as 8.11 hp @ 5003 RPM. Specially designed splash shields protect the open filter from engine heat and inclement weather (tube-type and splash shields depend upon the application). The Airaid filter is washable, reusable, and will last for the life of your Mustang.
