415hp out of 347ci engine is a great motor to swap into your project vehicle looking for more power with this BluePrint Engines crate motor. If you don't want to spend time searching for the right parts for your build, pick up this BluePrint Engines crate motor and save time and money on your project. Whether you are building a street cruiser or a track monster, this crate motor will hold up to either. This engine comes ready for you to bolt on your choice of accessories, intake manifold, headers, and transmission to get the best combination for more horsepower and torque. This crate engine is a factory 28oz balanced rotating assembly. It comes assembled with a brand new Blueprint Engines high-strength cast iron block, HP9009 aluminum cylinder heads, a hydraulic roller cam, dual sump oil pan, a timing cover, dipstick, and a set of polished valve covers to top it off. Making up to 16 inches of vacuum and is designed to work excellently with power brakes, an upgraded torque converter and lower gearing on 91-octane fuel. Blueprint crate engines come with a 30-month/50k-mile warranty at no extra cost for great peace of mind. Brand New Short Block
With the rarity of an unmodified stock block to remanufacture, Blueprint went out and made their own brand-new high-strength blocks! The robust short block has an Increased deck thickness and strengthening webbing throughout, making it far superior to the original Windsor-based 302. Improved water jacket designs for more efficient cooling and better coolant flow. Utilizing stronger 4 bolt mains with a 3.40" stroke cast steel crank, Forged 5.400" connecting rods, and forged pistons round out the rotating assembly and get more cubic inches with 347ci displacement. With a compression ratio of 10:1 making 415 horsepower straight out of the box!

Cylinder Heads & Cam
Equipped with Blueprints custom ground hydraulic roller camshaft to give you the extra power you need! This performance camshaft has a 218/226 duration and a .543/.554 lift with a 112-degree lobe separation to add a good amount of low-end torque. This hydraulic camshaft is preinstalled in this motor to save you time when building your ride. BluePrint HP9009 190cc aluminum cylinder heads feature a 60cc combustion chamber with a 2.02" intake and 1.60" exhaust valves. Large 190cc intake and 65cc exhaust runners will have more than enough flow to make all the power you could need. Roller rockers and a double roller timing chain ensure a long life with minimal valvetrain maintenance.

Important Note:

For 1986-1988 models, LMR recommends a proper Mass Air Flow conversion for optimal drivability.
Engine block supports mechanical clutch; shorty headers may require block grinding for clearance in Mustang applications.
Timing cover includes two unused bolt holes (for crank sensors in Explorer/Mountaineer applications).
Heads do not support EGR.
The timing cover accepts a mechanical fuel pump and a reverse rotation water pump if the correct backing plate is used.
