What Is An Idle Air Control Motor
The idle air control motor, also known as the idle air control valve, is the solenoid that bolts to the throttle body that controls changes in the idle depending on engine load. When an IAC motor starts to malfunction, it can cause a check engine light, rough idle, decrease in fuel mileage, and poor running conditions.
