DCR Convertible Header Weatherstrip
Keep the elements sealed out of your 2001-2004 Mustang convertible with Daniel Carpenter's OE reproduction convertible header weatherstrip. This weatherstripping is located across the top and down the sides of your 01-04 Mustang convertible windshield frame. Over the years this weatherstripping may become worn from opening and closing your convertible top and may allow wind noise, rain, dust, dirt, and other debris into your Mustang's cabin. Constructed of high-quality black pressure molded rubber to provide superior fitment and sealing. Included and pre-installed are the OE-style plastic clips that retain the header weatherstrip to the windshield frame. Keep your Mustang sealed up nice and tight with this new replacement weatherstrip by DCR.

Installation Note- For proper fitment, door hinges must be inspected for excessive play. The door hinges should not have any play up or down.
- If there is excessive play and it is left unaddressed, leaking may occur. Our door hinge repair kit can be utilized to resolve any excessive play in the door hinges as well as replacement door hinges LRS-22801A & LRS-22800A.
- Excessive window play will also cause improper fitment and may result in a leaking weatherstrip. A window support bracket kit can be utilized to correct a sagging window.
- To achieve desired fitment, adjustments to the windows and doors may be necessary.
- Aftermarket header weatherstrip will require weatherstrip adhesive or double-sided tape to make the weatherstrip sit flush with the body of the car.
