Restore or enhance the interior of your 1999-2004 Mustang with this 2001 Cobra seat upholstery! The seats in your 1999-2004 Mustang have seen better days, a set of new seat upholstery for your New Edge Mustang is just the ticket! This Mustang Seat Upholstery is intended for the Cobra trim level 2001 Mustang coupe with sport seats. The upholstery features vinyl backs & sides with a leather seating surface & suede inserts. The leather is finished in a Dark Parchment color with medium parchment suede inserts. This leather upholstery will not work with the stock front seat foam. This Mustang leather upholstery kit has been designed with OE-style patterns to match the factory seats the 2001 Cobra came with from the factory. The material used is not factory exact, but is the closest match currently available. Upgrade the interior of your 1999-2004 Mustang with this 2001 Cobra seat upholstery kit!

Replacement Front Seat Foam Required
TMI Bullitt & Cobra Seat Foam (2001) is REQUIRED when installing this upholstery on 2001 Bullitt/Cobra or 1999-2004 GT applications. The mounting points have been improved compared to the factory foam & the bolsters have been more aggressively designed. The use of this new foam on 1999-2004 GT seat frames will allow you to upgrade to Bullitt/Cobra upholstery! The rear seat reuses foam and comes with an installation kit.

Common 1994-2004 Mustang Seat Upholstery Issues

Collapsed & Crumbled Foam - The foam bolsters, especially on the driver's side, break down due to entry and exit friction.
Leather/Vinyl Cracking & Fading - The factory leather and vinyl on the seat bottoms and upper bolsters dry out and crack, particularly in convertibles.
Prolonged UV Sun Exposure - Excessive sun exposure and a lack of proper conditioning cause the material to stiffen and eventually split along the grain lines.
Split Seams & Velcro Separation - From stress and age, the stitching on the seat bottoms lets go, resulting in gaping holes in the seat center. Over time, the Velcro pulls loose from the foam, causing the seat cover to stretch, loosen, and put excess stress on the stitched seams.
