Dynamic Friction 11.8" Diameter Geospec Brake RotorsAt the center of this Mustang rotor and brake pad kit is Dynamic Friction's premium, Geospec coated brake rotors. DFC utilizes G3000/G11H18 iron castings sized in spec 11.8" diameter to provide exceptional strength, stability, and long-lasting durability. The friction surface features a non-directional finish that promotes proper pad seating for quicker break-in, quieter operation, and smoother stopping performance. Each rotor is precision-balanced and corrected using an advanced electronic mill-balance process to minimize vibration and ensure consistent operation at all speeds. The original vane configuaration is used to ensure proper heat dissipation. A durable Geospec coating provides an attractive silver-gray finish while offering superior corrosion resistance compared to conventional coatings. This protective finish allows for hassle-free installation right out of the box with no pre-cleaning or degreasing required. Before leaving the factory, every rotor undergoes extensive testing and inspection to ensure it meets OE specifications for fit, function, and performance.
Dynamic Friction Ceramic/HybriDynamic Brake PadsThe DFC Geospec brake rotors are paired with their signature Dynamic Friction HybriDynamic brake pad formula to provide a consistent pedal feel and brake response that gives you confidence in any driving conditions. This formula is a great choice for daily drivers looking for low dust characteristics to minimize wheel cleaning. To minimize noise, vibration, and harshness; Dynamic Friction uses a unique layer of rubber, steel, then rubber again shim combination. Each pad is post-cured and scorched to remove uncured bonding agents to minimize the need for an initial break-in period and increase stopping power from the initial stop. Finally, an underlayer between the pad compound and backing plate provides improved friction plate adhesion to further decrease noise, while also providing a thermal barrier for the caliper to reduce the possibility of fluid boil.
