SVE Rear Disc Brake Caliper Adapter Brackets - Thunderbird Turbo/93 Cobra Calipers
Upgrade the braking capabilities of your 1979-1993 Mustang by installing a set of SVE 1987-1988 Thunderbird Turbo/1993 Cobra rear disc brakes. When installing 1993 Cobra/Turbo Coupe disc brakes onto your Fox Body Mustang, you will be required to install these brackets to the rear axle housing in order to secure the calipers safely. These high quality, durable steel brackets allow enthusiasts to install 1993 Cobra or 1987-1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe rear disc brakes onto their 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang. Upgrading your rear brakes to disc brakes allows for increased braking power compared to the factory drum setup. Drum brakes are also more prone to locking up on the road, ultimately reducing the safety of your Mustang. Manufactured in the USA, these SVE brackets maintain the proper offset and backspacing, bypassing the need for costly custom wheel offsets, saving you precious time, money, and frustration. Finish off the disc brake swap on your Fox Body Mustang with these cost-effective caliper brackets.

Further Instruction
These brackets must be used with 1993 Cobra or 1987-1988 Turbo Coupe 10" brake rotors and must use factory-length drum flanged axles. They will not work with SN95 flanged axles. If your Mustang has a 1986-1998 8.8" housing, removal of a small amount of material from the rear upper corner of the housing flange will be necessary. Lastly, due to varying tolerances between axle housings, you may need to shim the bracket to the axle housing for proper clearance.

Fits 1979-93 Mustang w/ factory drum flanged axles.
Will NOT work with 1993 Cobra, Saleen, or SVO axles.
NOT intended for use with c-clip eliminator kits.
Due to the nature of being a raw metal finish, surface rust may be present. This does not affect the function of the product. Can be scuffed and painted if desired.
