1979-2004 Mustang Driveshaft Slip Yoke - 28 Spline

Renew the driveshaft in your 1979-2004 Mustang and ensure a smooth drivetrain operation with this replacement 28 spline slip yoke. The driveshaft input yoke slips into the tail shaft of the transmission allowing the driveshaft to move as the suspension travels. After years of service, these can bend, wear out, or become grooved causing excessive play, driveline vibrations, and transmission leaks. Provisioned for the factory style 1330 U-joints, this yoke will require no modifications when are required. Built for the long haul using a strong cast steel construction in the original dimensions and tolerances this yoke is manufactured to fit multiple engines and transmission applications such as the T5, C4, and AOD. Direct replacement for Ford Performance Aluminum Driveshaft M4602G and M4602GA but requires M4635A hybrid U-joint for use on stock 1983-1993 5.0L AOD, 1983-1993 2.3L T5, and 1994-1995 5.0L/3.8L AOD-E driveshaft. Make sure that the driveshaft in your Mustang is up to par by installing this 28 spline slip yoke!

Intended for use with C4, AOD, and T5 applications using a custom/aluminum driveshaft and a 1330 u-joint on 1979-1995 5.0 Mustang.
This yoke is not a direct fit for the factory 84-95 AOD driveshaft. A hybrid 1310/1330 U-joint is required for proper installation of this 28 spline yoke to a factory 84-95 AOD driveshaft.
