1988-1993 Mustang Convertible 5 Piece Weatherstrip Kit After 10/87
When considering replacing your convertible top and the convertible top weatherstrip on your 1988-93 Fox Body Mustang Convertible, we recommend installing the entire kit to avoid issues down the road. This kit includes the header, left extension, right extension, left a-pillar and right a-pillar weatherstrip to seal and keep out dirt, water, moisture and wind noise.

Installation Note
-Pillar post, header, and side rail weatherstrip will require the use of 3M weatherstrip adhesive for proper installation. Please see our install video for details.

-Fits 1988-1993 Ford Mustang Convertible built after October 1, 1987.
Pillar Post Weatherstrip Notice
- The new pillar post weatherstrip is molded from the original and is designed to be a direct replacement. Years of pressure from the window glass on your existing weatherstrip has caused a "channel" to form into the weatherstrip. While this would appear to be intentional from the factory, it is actually formed over time from the pressure of the window glass. This channel is not present on the new weatherstrip. Glass adjustment will most likely be required because of this.
