Tremec T56 Magnum 6-Speed Transmission with 2.66 First
If you are looking for the best 6-speed manual racing transmission on the market without breaking the bank, then the Tremec T56 Magnum with 2.66 first gear is for you! With the appropriate QuickTime Bellhousing, this transmission will bolt in behind your 5.0 or 5.8 pushrod engine as well as 4.6, 5.4, & 5.0 coyote modular engine, making this a great swap for 1979-2004 Mustang! The input shaft carries 26 splines and the output shaft is 31 splines. This Magnum transmission will handle up to 700lb-ft of torque and will provide crisp, clean shifts throughout the RPM range. Tremec T56 Magnum transmissions also feature provisions for mechanical & electronic speedometers & include a Tremec T56 billet shifter base. A preinstalled clutch fork pivot is included with the transmission as well as a reverse lockout, reverse light, and VSS. The Tremec T56 transmission should be your only consideration if doing a 5.0 Coyote swap in your 1979-2004 Mustang. Check out our
