Fitment Notice
  • The alternator pulley in this kit will only work with the stock 75 amp alternator.
  • The underdrive alternator pulley will NOT work on 3g upgrades.
  • Due to the difference in diameter from the stock Mustang pulleys, the charging system may need to be upgraded if you have a large stereo system. 
  • Will NOT fit V-belt setups.
  • Fits 1979-1993 Mustang V8 w/ Serpentine Accessory Drive

93 Cobra Style Pulley Kit
Reduce parasitic load on your engine with this 1979-1993 Mustang 93 Cobra-style pulley kit! From the factory, the 1993 Cobra engine had underdrive pulleys in comparison to the regular 5.0 engines. These smaller pulleys improved horsepower with less rotational mass which reduces drag on the engine. 5.0 Resto's Cobra pulley kit is a direct replacement for 1993 Cobras, and a great upgrade for 1979-1993 Fox Body engines looking to improve horsepower. Simply unbolt your old pulleys, then bolt the new pulleys in place!

Each pulley is precision-machined to match the design and contours of the factory 93 Cobra pulleys. Manufactured with high-strength steel, this pulley kit is durable and built to last. A black, E-coat finish is applied to each pulley to resist corrosion and provide a factory look in your engine bay for years to come!

Product Note

  • Due to the different shaft lengths with aftermarket alternators, primarily 3G-style alternators, the lock washer may need to be removed/omitted. If this is required for your application, apply a blue thread locking compound to the threads and tighten the retaining nut. Verify that there is adequate clearance between the rear of the pulley and the alternator housing, and the retaining nut properly bottoms out against the pulley.
  • This kit keeps the alternator and water pump turning at "stock" RPM (That way charging and cooling are unaffected from stock) and underdrives the power steering, A/C, and Smog 11.78%
