When replacing your fuel tank, you'll need the seals in this kit to ensure the fuel stays in the tank, and the pads to ensure your tank doesn't get damaged while driving. Your old pads and seals deteriorate which makes them nontransferable to a new fuel tank. 5.0 Resto includes everything you need to ensure your new fuel tank installs quickly and easily.
High-Quality Components5.0 Resto's fuel tank kit includes high-quality components that are built to last. Made of a stamped steel construction this gas tank is made for 1981-1986 Mustangs without electronic fuel injection (EFI) and has all of the pre-cut holes needed for all accessories. Featuring a new fuel tank pad, this install kit ensures your tank doesn't see metal-on-metal contact when raised into place. To finish out the install kit, 5.0 Resto includes a new fuel filler neck grommet and vapor valve seal. These seals are built with a durable rubber construction built to last. The fuel-resistant compounds ensure leak-free performance for years to come!
