Direct Replacement 2001-2004 Mustang Fuel Tank
Replace your damaged or rusted-out 2001-2004 Mustang fuel tank and ensure that only clean fuel is circulated through your fuel system. Constructed from stamped steel, this fuel tank will stand up to tough conditions while safely storing your Mustang's fuel. Pre-cut holes have been made where the fuel pump, vapor valves, and filler neck install for simple installation of the required accessories. To make tank installation easier, the fuel tank's corners and pinch welds have been bent and formed according to the shape of the tank location under the trunk. Make sure to add a new fuel tank to your next Mustang fuel system upgrade!
Product Note
- Upon inspection of the fuel tank, you will notice there are bends in the pinch welds. This is done during production by the manufacturer so you have the proper clearance for the tank straps and fuel tank cover.
- This fuel tank does not come with all the necessary seals and grommets. Click here for the small vapor valve seals as well as the fuel tank filler grommet options.
- Due to the design variances in aftermarket fuel tanks and straps, we recommend our Fuel Tank Strap Stud Kit to ease installation.
