1998 Mustang Fuel Tank
Ensure the fuel system in your 1998 Mustang is operating like new with this premium standard emissions replacement fuel tank! The fuel tank is the main component of the entire fuel system. A leaking or rusted fuel tank prevents your SN95 Mustang from feeding its engine the fuel it needs. This premium replacement fuel tank features a durable stamped steel construction with a corrosion-resistant coating inside and out so you know this tank is built to last! The 15 gallon capacity of this tank is identical to your factory tank and has the correct pre-cut holes for the filler neck, vapor valve, and fuel pump module. To secure your fuel pump module, this tank has the correct built-in basket that your fuel pump snaps into. Finalizing the installation, this tank includes a new fuel pump to tank seal and installation hardware to guarantee your Mustang is leak-free and road-ready!
Product Note
- Upon inspection of the fuel tank, you will notice there are bends in the pinch welds. This is done during production by the manufacturer so you have the proper clearance for the tank straps and fuel tank cover.
- Due to the design variances in aftermarket fuel tanks and straps, we recommend our Fuel Tank Strap Stud Kit to ease installation.
