Ford Thermactor Air Diverter Vacuum Control Solenoid
Repair your 1988-93 Mustang Emissions system with this direct-from Ford TAD sensor. The TAD (Thermactor Air Diverter) solenoid controls the vacuum to the air injection system valves, sending air to the cylinder heads or catalytic converters, and is the next valve downstream from the TAB solenoid. If this is faulty it could cause a check engine light or your emissions to increase. The TAD solenoid is located on the passenger side of the engine and has a curved bottom connector below the EGR vacuum control solenoid. Replace your malfunctioning TAD solenoid in your 1988-1993 Mustang with this direct replacement solenoid!
