Ford Port Fuel injector - 28lb
Restore the factory fuel flow in your 2018-2023 Mustang 5.0 with this Ford Original 28lb port fuel injector! The Gen 3 Coyote engines have two sets of injectors: one set of standard port injectors on the intake manifold and a set of High-pressure direct injectors that spray fuel directly into the combustion chamber under very high pressure. This allows for lower emissions and a more precise control of the volume, timing, and quantity of fuel. This Ford Original port fuel injector is brand new and not remanufactured, designed to restore factory fuel flow thanks to the factory spec flow rate. Manufactured with the correct EV14 connector, these injectors will be a direct replacement without any adapters needed. The injectors feature high-temp Viton o-rings, which enable prolonged sealing under extreme heat conditions while preventing fuel from leaking or harmful debris from contaminating the injectors. Installation Notes
- Before installation, you MUST depressurize your Coyote fuel system.
- To depressurize the fuel system, locate and disconnect the fuel pump driver module on the LH side, beneath the rear seat cushion.
- Start the engine and allow it to idle until the engine stalls. Turn off the ignition switch.
- After service is complete, reconnect the FPDM connector and reinstall the seat cushion.
- Cycle the ignition and wait for 3 seconds. Check for leaks before starting the engine.
