Universal Joint (U-joint) Restore your 1979-2004 Mustang's drivetrain with a new premium U-joint! Smooth driveability and reliability depend on having a driveshaft and universal joints in good working order. A Mustang's driveline is something you want to know is there without being able to feel it. When the driveshaft and universal joints, or U-joints are felt and heard, it's usually bad news. Constructed from cold-forged, case-hardened steel, each u-joint is precision ground for an exact fitment that virtually eliminates any vibration caused by movement between driveline components. Nitrile rubber grease seals keep dirt and debris from entering the bearing caps, and new snap rings ensure that the U-joint remains tightly in place after installation. A grease fitting allows new grease introduction into the U-joint so that contaminants can be flushed, increasing the life of the U-joint. This quality replacement style universal joint connects your Fox Body Mustang's driveshaft to the rear-end pinion yoke and will get your driveshaft turning smoothly again!
