PMAS HPX Mass Air Flow Sensor & 3" Housing
If you are looking to convert your turbocharged or supercharged, Mustang to the best mass air sensor setup on the market, look no further than this PMAS blow-thru setup! Blow-thru setups allow your post-compressor, compressed intake air to be measured instead of the pre-charged air. After your turbo, or supercharger, compresses the air; the density, temperature, and pressure can be drastically changed compared to before it is compressed. Placing the mass air flow sensor in the path of the compressed air allows your tuner to tune true variables in the compressed intake tract!

PMAS HPX Mass Air Flow Sensor
The PMAS HPX MAF sensor is designed similarly to the fast reacting, 2005+ style slot sensors. PMAS HPX mass air sensor will support up to 800 horsepower in the included 3" MAF tube. This is not the limit of the HPX sensor, however. If you change your engine setup, and max out the 3" tube, it can be placed in a larger MAF housing, allowing it to support even more horsepower. This design gives you room to grow, making it the last sensor you ever have to buy!

PMAS 3" MAF Housing
PMAS 3" MAF housings are designed, and manufactured, in an optimized length to smooth incoming airflow. Smoothing the turbulent airflow provides a better reading for the mass air flow sensor. Constructed with T-6061 billet aluminum, and coated with a protective finish, this housing is built to perform and look great for a long time. Each end of the housing has stepped ends for a secure connection, preventing your hoses from being blown off under pressure.

PMAS ADPT-VX Wiring Adapter
To make installation of your new PMAS mass air flow sensor easier, a 4-wire wiring adapter is included that will allow you to adapt your old factory wiring harness to the new 2005+ slot style connection. The PMAS plug-n-play wiring harness allows you to adapt your factory wiring harness without cutting your wiring harness, making installation a breeze.

This mass air flow meter does not come with a CARB OE number for California residents.

Fitment Notice

Fits 1996-2004 Mustang 4.6.
Fits 1999-2004 Lightning with blow-thru turbo setup.
Compatible with SCT BA5000 and factory 2005+ Ford sensors.
Compatible with both 4 and 6-wire mass air flow sensor wiring.
Factory 4 wire mass airflow sensors will not allow the use of temperature sensors without modification. Temperature wiring will need to be disconnected from the individual sensor.
Kit includes a universal harness that will be discarded. Use included plug & play adapter.
Computer tuning is required when changing mass air flow sensors on your Mustang.
