Complete a 7.3 Godzilla engine swap into your 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang with this Team Z Matrix swap k-member! Proudly made in the USA, this Team Z tubular k-member is the perfect solution for your engine swap project. This Team Z Motorsports lightweight k-member replaces your factory k-member and bolts right into the factory mounting points using the provided hardware. Team Z Motorsports has raised the bar with this swap k-member to properly install a 7.3 Godzilla engine into your Fox Body Mustang. Featuring a heavy gauge alloy and mild steel construction, this metal matrix k-member is a great way to add strength, clearance, and eliminate weight and off of the front end for improved suspension performance.

Team-Z Quality
Utilizing a tubular design that lowers the steering rack position by 1-1/2”, this k-member provides additional oil pan and header clearance, although the original 7.3 oil pan will need to be slightly modified for complete clearance. Custom-fabricated heavy gauge steel solid engine mounts allow the engine to be secured directly to the K-member with the supplied hardware making for a simple bolt-on installation. Powder-coated in a brilliant black frost hammertone finish that will stand up to the abuse of racing. Eliminate the headache of swapping a 7.3 into your Fox Body Mustang with this Team Z Motorsports metal matrix 7.3 k-member!

Required Parts

Team Z tubular control arms are required to complete installation. Stock and other brand control arms are not compatible with this k-member.
Requires the use of coil-overs.
Requires the use of caster camber plates.
1979-1984 Mustang will be required to use 85-04 rack bushings.
Requires Manual steering rack converison will NOT work with power steering racks.

Fits 1979-1993 Mustang w/ 7.3L Godzilla Engine
The factory Godzilla stock oil pan will need to be modified.
Depending on your vehicle, modification of the stock steering shaft or a low-profile steering shaft may be required.
