Turn over the engine in your 1979-1995 Mustang with this high torque mini starter from Ford Performance for the 5.0/5.8 Windsor engines! This starter is smaller than the early 1979-1989 starters and the same size but has stronger output compared to the newer 1990+ Mustang starters. Its tiny size promotes header clearance and lessens the consequences of heat-related "hot start" failures. This 100 percent brand new unit is designed to function with a 157 teeth flywheel and effortlessly cranks over higher compression engines. Lighter than the original 1989 and earlier versions, it helps to reduce the weight of your Mustang's front end. Ford Performance high torque mini starter comes with the special battery wires needed to adapt it to your application as well as the needed instructions for installation. Ford Performance high torque mini starter won't leave you stuck with a dead starter on your 1979-1995 Mustang!
