Proper valvetrain geometry on your 1979-1995 Mustang 5.0 or 5.8 engine is essential; correct it with this Ford Performance pedestal-style rocker arm shim kit. While Mustang pedestal mount rocker arms are known for their easy bolt-down & go installation, their main flaw is that there is no adjustability! Fortunately, Ford Performance offers a pedestal mount rocker arm shim kit to help achieve proper lifter preload. Ford Performance designed this kit to provide you with multiple options and combinations, allowing you to select exactly what you need for your Windsor engine. Constructed from durable steel, these shims have the correct size opening for pedestal-mount 5/16-inch rocker arms. Four different thickness shims from .010" to .040" with sixteen of each, more than enough for your engine. Fitting most 302 and 351 pedestal-style cylinder heads, including the Ford Performance X2 Street Cruiser Cylinder Heads .

Shim Kit Note

It is recommended that if stacking shims, only stack shims to achieve up to a 0.090". If more adjustment is needed, a different length pushrod should be sourced.
