1994-2004 Mustang Ford Performance Steel Bearing Retainer
The Mustang input bearing retainer on T5 equipped Mustangs also doubles as a clutch release bearing (Throw-Out Bearing) sleeve. From the factory these bearing retainers were made of an aluminum base & sleeve & often developed wear grooves on the sleeve causing the release bearing to bind & create all manor of clutch engagement & disengagement issues.
Application
- Fits 1994-1995 Mustang GT/Cobra w/ T5 Transmission.
- 1994-2004 Mustang 3.8L V6 with T5 Transmission
Product Note
- Due to the nature of the casting on the base of the bearing retainer, flash lines/flow lines resembling cracks may be visible on the bearing retainer. This is a normal byproduct of aluminum casting and are not cracks in the aluminum housing.
