Mustang Interior Paint System - Two Pints Renew the interior color in your 1984-1995 Mustang with this premium white interior paint system from LMR! Mixed to custom specifications in-house here at Late Model Restoration, this paint system is made with quality SEM brand paint toners to provide you with the truest and closest match to the factory color. LMR includes two full pints (32oz) of 1984-1995 Mustang white finish paint, equivalent to 10 cans of aerosol spray paint. You'll be able to paint approximately 120 square feet of interior space, depending on the number of coats applied. A flexing agent is blended in the paint, allowing you to spray this on all hard and flexible interior surfaces for the ultimate versatility! Best of all, no thinner or reducer is required with this paint. Ambient temperature and relative humidity will determine the overall dry time of this paint.
Preval Sprayer Atomizer A Preval sprayer system is included with this kit to deliver a superior finished product compared to other methods. This sprayer features a patented Venturi Vacuum Process, which draws the paint from the attached reservoir and provides a professional-grade finish without mixing the propellant and paint. Because of this process, the atomization of the paint is very fine and lays evenly on the surface. When finished, clean the system with paint thinner if you have any paint and/or propellant left over.
Cleaning & PreparationTo ensure the best surface preparation for this paint, LMR recommends
SEM sand-free adhesion promoter SEM-38363 for use with hard plastics/trim. For soft vinyl surfaces, we recommend
SEM vinyl prep/cleaner SEM-38343. Remember, when painting any surfaces, you MUST prep them before painting, or the result may be of poor quality.
Paint Coverage
This interior paint is perfect for small touch-up applications. For larger paint jobs, we recommend our
interior paint kit which includes an additional can of interior paint a can of vinyl prep spray for those demanding interior revamps. For very large jobs (interior restorations) We highly recommend purchasing all your paint at once to ensure proper dye lot matching. This will ensure an even coat of matching paint for your restoration job.
