(1) Cross-Axis Joint Kit

Maximum Motorsports Quality
The 1999-04 Mustang Cobra IRS cross-axis joints are the pivots on the rear spindles where the control arms attach. From the factory these contain plastic bushings that are prone to short life and quick wear. Maximum Motorsports has created this spherical bushing style replacement to provide a longer lasting cross axis joint for your independent rear suspension. These high quality bearings feature a high-strength PTFE-lining for durability. Maximum Motorsports even includes a tool kit to help you remove the OEM joints!

NOTE
-1999 Cobra had a recall to replace the IRS uprights due to problems with the cross-axis joints. This kit will not fit the original uprights and will only work on the recalled units. See attachment below to find out if you have the former or the latter.
