Completing your 1979-2014 Mustang Gen 1 Coyote swap with a 6R80 has never been easier thanks to this Power By The Hour Gen 1 6R80 Control Pack! This kit includes all the necessary parts needed to complete your 6R80 automatic transmission, Gen 1 Coyote engine swap. The Power By The Hour 6R80 automatic transmissions body harness, PCM, O2 sensors, Mass airflow sensor, drive by wire gas pedal, upgraded 6R80 transmission harness, and the detachable fuse block is all included in this kit! This 6R80 control pack is designed to work with any 2011-2014 Coyote, Roadrunner, and F150 Coyote Gen 1 V8 engines, as well as any 2007-2014 GT500 engines making it the most versatile kit on the market!

Power By The Hour Transmission Harness - PCP-1117

The PBH 6r80 transmission harness gives you exactly what you need to get the swap using PBH Control Pack. The harness uses OEM connectors, is completely loomed, and labeled. The blunt leads are to simplify the speedometer connection and are clearly labeled. The O2 Sensor leads are extended so aftermarket extension harnesses do not need to be added for long tube or custom header design. This 6R80 transmission harness does have wiring for the EPAS (electric power steering). If you are using an F-150 donor engine, you must use a Mustang Transmission harness. The F-150 version is different and cannot be used with this kit. You will need the PBH harness or one from an 11-14 Mustang GT.

Tuning & Wiring Information

The PBH 6R80 body harness will give installers and builders the ability to not only use the 6R80 but to use it to full factory potential. Power By The Hour also left wiring leads for anyone who would like to add select shift buttons, cruise control, electric steering, and oil pressure sender. You also get trigger wires for the fuel pump and cooling fans so the factory computer can control them as well. The fuse block is detachable to make wiring installation easier.

PCM Information

The PCM supplied in the kit is a 2013-2014 Auto GT Mustang unit. This allows the use of the select shift option just like factory. The computer will come with a custom flash to allow startup and custom tuning. Using a factory PCM with a custom flash allows your tuner the ability to control both engine and transmission in one module, no need for any secondary controllers that might have some limitations.
