If you are installing a new cam to your Modular engine or rebuilding a high-mileage one, replacing the roller followers will always be insurance that your engine will continue to run for years to come. These roller followers are commonly referred to as roller rockers in the older pushrod motors. These can become worn over time, causing scarring on the camshaft. Replacing these before they fail can be cheap insurance that more engine damage is not caused! Made from a hardened steel construction, they will last as long as your engine does!
