S550 Mustang Wheel Fitment Guide

The entire S550 generation, 2015 through 2023, shares the same core wheel fitment: 5x114.3mm bolt pattern, 1/2"x14mm wheel studs, 70.3mm center bore, and a 35-50mm offset range, with stock wheel sizes running 17"-20" depending on trim. This holds true across EcoBoost, V6, GT/GT Premium, and Shelby GT500 models, with no year-to-year changes to work around.

Fitment: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Ford Mustang models.

Staggered vs. square fitment: Factory setups are square (same size front and rear). Staggered fitment, wider in the rear, is a popular upgrade available across the whole S550 range, not tied to specific model years.

FAQ:

Do all S550 Mustangs (2015-2023) use the same wheel fitment?

Yes. Every model year in the S550 generation, from 2015 through 2023, EcoBoost, V6, GT, GT Premium, and Shelby GT500, uses a 5x114.3mm bolt pattern with the same center bore and offset range, so wheel fitment doesn't change year to year.

Will 2015-2017 Mustang wheels fit a 2018-2023 model, or vice versa?

Yes. Because bolt pattern, center bore, and offset range are identical across the full 2015-2023 S550 generation, wheels swap freely between any of these model years.

Should I choose square or staggered wheels for my Mustang?

Square fitment (same size front and rear) is factory/stock and allows you to easily rotate your tires. Staggered fitment, wider in the rear, is a popular upgrade available across the whole S550 range. See our full fitment guide for sizing details.

Do I need new TPMS sensors when I install aftermarket wheels?

In most cases, yes, TPMS sensors are wheel-specific and need to be reinstalled or reprogrammed. Check individual product pages for compatibility.
