Changes for the 2013 model included standard blacked-out taillights as well as a new redesigned front end. The GT500 received a major engine overhaul, dropping the 5.4 and upgrading to a 5.8L rated at 662HP and 631 ft/lbs of torque. With the Boss 302 package still being available, School Bus Yellow was added as an exclusive. Other changes included a leather-wrapped steering wheel with speed and audio controls standard on all models and a new instrument cluster with a 4.2" LCD message center with MyColor backlighting and track apps.
