Add some stability, launch harder & get more traction to the rear end of your 2005-2014 Mustang with this red J&M Lower Control Arm & Adjustable Panhard Bar Kit! One of the best bang-for-the-buck suspension mods for the S197 after lowering springs is a new set of rear lower control arms and an adjustable panhard bar. This combination drastically improves handling, reduces wheel hop, and corrects rear suspension geometry. This J&M kit features their tubular rear control arms with 3-piece poly-ball bushings and an on-car adjustable panhard bar, allowing for easy adjustments. The panhard bar utilizes 1.25” DOM steel tubing, while the control arms employ a beefed-up 1.5” DOM steel tubing. BMR tops off these Made in the USA parts with a red powder coat finish for durability that lasts!

Why Do You Need An Adjustable Panhard Bar?
By nature, a Mustang Panhard Bar will alter rear-end position as ride height changes. This makes it necessary to use an adjustable panhard bar when lowering your vehicle, as it allows you to re-center the rear end. Adjustable panhard bars also become a "must-have" part if you are trying to fit the widest tires possible in the wheel well.

Bushing Lubrication

The suspension bushings included with this part can only be lubricated with PTFE grease, also referred to as "Marine Grease". PTFE grease is a very sticky, opaque grease that is water proof and will not degrade the bushing material. If lubed properly at installation, these bushings will not need to be lubricated again. Use of any other grease on these bushings will cause the bushing to fail and any bushing warranty to be voided.
