Converting your 4-lug Cobra to a 5-lug can allow the use of various wheels. Converting your 4-lug Mustang to 5-lug has never been easier with this all-in-one kit from 5.0 Resto. This kit features high-quality hardened forged steel axles, which increase torque capacity over the stock axles. This kit utilizes new 11” front brake rotors and 5-lug rear brake rotors. This kit includes new wheel bearings, seals, wheel studs, friction modifier, and gear oil. Enhance not only the exterior appearance of your 1993 SVT Cobra with a set of 5-lug wheels but upgrade the braking performance of your Fox Body Mustang!

This conversion is for the 1993 Cobra only!

Fitment Notice

The installation of this kit will narrow the 93 Cobra track width by .75" on each side. This makes the track width equal to that of a normal 5.0L Fox.
Fits 1979-93 Mustang w/ factory drum flanged axles.
Designed to be used with Thunderbird turbo coupe (or) 1993 Cobra calipers & 10" rotors
NOT intended for use with c-clip eliminator kits!
The 1986-1998 Mustang 8.8" housing is not perfect, and removing a small amount of material from the rear upper corner of the housing flange will be necessary. This will allow the new bracket to be rotated for the bolt holes to line up. Due to variances between axle housing, you MAY have to shim the bracket to the axle housing for proper clearance.
The included caliper brackets will provide the correct spacing to correspond with the narrower axles.

Although we have seen other wheels that are not listed above modified to fit with this kit, we cannot guarantee correct fitment outside of this list.

The Mustang axles are stock Fox length 28 spline, with a 5" x 4.5" bolt pattern. They are made from high-quality steel & hardened to increase torque capacity by 25% over a stock axle!
