Fitment Notice

Does NOT include wiring or pigtail connectors. This is a fan assembly ONLY.
Because this fan was originally intended for Ford Contour/Mercury Mystique, some modification is required for installation. There are several tabs around the shroud that may need to be trimmed/cut.
Superchargers with secondary drive pulleys attached to crankshaft pulley may have interference between the pulley and fans, especially with 8 rib crank supercharger pulleys. This clearance is further reduced by larger radiators.
LMR recommends using a 50+ AMP (constant draw) rated dual fan controller like Dakota Digital 70 AMP Dual Fan Controller and Temp Sensor as will be needed for installation and not included with this fan.
LMR DOES NOT recommend connecting the fans without the use of a properly rated fan controller or 50+ AMP (constant draw) relay and manual switch type of configuration. If running the fans on a manual switch, the fans will run at Max RPM at all times.

Mustang Contour Fan Assembly

Upgrade the oem cooling fan on your 1979-1993 Mustang with this Contour electric fan assembly! From the factory, your Mustang has a single fan blade attached to a fan clutch that is bolted to the water pump pulley. This causes parasitic loss as your engine has to spin the assembly and as you modify your engine, this single fan blade has a hard time keeping up with the demands of your newfound power. This can cause cooling system efficiency loss, leading to overheating issues. Now you can increase the output of your cooling fan to keep your coolant temperatures down with this Contour electric dual radiator fan assembly!

Ford Contour Fan Upgrade

Converting the stock cooling fan setup to an electric fan from a Ford Contour or Mercury Mystique has been a popular upgrade for Fox owners since the late '90s. Combining approximately 3,500 CFM fan output into a compact, factory-style assembly was a very attractive choice for 1979-1993 Mustangs looking for a cooling upgrade. This fan assembly measures 24-1/4" wide, 16-3/4" tall, and is 3.5" deep. These measurements provide plenty of core coverage to most radiators, while also clearing the front accessory drive!
