5.0 Resto Contour Fan Mounting Bracket Kit

Properly mount a new set of Ford Contour electric fans on the radiator of your Fox Body with 5.0 Resto's solution-based Contour fan mounting bracket kit! Whether you are looking for a serious upgrade over the factory clutch fan or your application needs an electric fan assembly that flows more CFM's, then the Contour fan assembly is the perfect option! Unfortunately, these fans were never a direct fit and required modification to install them. This is where 5.0 Resto stepped in and designed a complete mounting bracket kit to eliminate all of the guesswork when it comes to the installation of the Contour electric fans.

5.0 Resto Quality

5.0 Resto products are designed and manufactured with an OEM fit and finish in mind, and this Contour fan mounting bracket kit is no exception. With the help of parts from SVE, this kit features beefy 16 gauge aluminum pre-drilled mounting brackets that are finished in black powder coating for long-lasting durability. These brackets allow you to retain your factory or SVE radiator when mounting the Contour fans. 5.0 Resto includes SVE's black, 14oz overflow tank along with a mounting bracket that mounts the tank directly to the Contour fans for an organized look under the hood! To properly plumb the new overflow tank into the cooling system, a two-foot section of hose is included to allow for the flow of coolant that is pushed out of the radiator. Finally, to properly wire in the Contour fans, two electrical pigtails are included to correctly wire in a 50+ AMP (constant draw) rated dual fan controller.

Does NOT accept the factory cap or low coolant sensor.
If running the fans on a manual switch, the fans will run at Max RPM at all times.

Fan Wiring Note

Before final installation, verify the fan direction with a bench test as the fan plug wiring is colored the same for positive and negative. Ensure fans are in the correct pull or push configuration per your application. See the Contour Wiring Installation video for more details.
The provided electrical pigtails may require trimming of the plastic bridge/guide between the connector.
LMR recommends the use of a 50+ AMP (constant draw) rated dual fan controller like Dakota Digital 70 AMP Dual Fan Controller and Temp Sensor
LMR DOES NOT recommend connecting the fans without the use of a properly rated fan controller or 50+ AMP (constant draw) relay and manual switch type of configuration.
