1996-2004 Mustang Fenderwell Cold Air Intake Kit GT

Bring more cold air into the engine with this fender well cold air intake kit. This kit completely replaces the stock factory air box and restrictive paper filter element in the 1996-2004 4.6 Mustang GT. Featuring a high flow air filter assembly, this kit provides a noticeable increase in horsepower and throttle response while filtering out destructive power robbing dust particles. The result is cooler, denser air from inside the inner fender well to make more power. Not only will your Mustang gain more power, but it will have improved fuel mileage. Seeing a few more miles per tank is always a great advantage between fill-ups! The installation of this kit is simple and can be completed with basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required.

This product is NOT smog legal and does NOT provide adequate C.A.R.B. regulation numbers to be legal in California emission standards.
The included air filter is an oil-based filter and not a dry, flow-style design.

Does NOT fit with a strut tower brace

Installation Note

For better fitment re-use, the rubber grommets from the bottom of your stock airbox.
When installing the air filter should be pointing down in the fender and the curved part of the MAF housing will be on top for proper orientation.
2001-2004 Mustangs will need to use the rubber ACT block off plug provided in this kit.
