Increase horsepower and torque in your 1993-1995 F-150 SVT Lightning 5.8 with SVE CNC 185cc aluminum cylinder heads. SVE aluminum cylinder heads are the perfect upgrade for your Lightning. Enlarged ports and valves provide more airflow for increased power, while the aluminum construction reduces weight compared to stock cast iron heads.  The fully CNC 185cc intake ports allow for 289.16 CFM max airflow at 0.60" lift and a 58cc combustion chamber size. SVE's 185cc heads undergo a CNC machining process that cleans up any flaws the "as cast" heads may have, which further increases airflow and performance. SVE heads come fully assembled with 3/8" rockers studs, upgraded hydraulic roller dual valve springs, Viton valve seals, guide plates, machined bead valve locks, hardened spring cups, Manley steel retainers, and one-piece 8mm valves. Intake valves measure in at 2.02", and exhaust valves measure 1.60" big enough to flow all the air your Windsor engine would need. These stud mount heads are fully assembled and are finished off with a 3-angle valve job meaning that you will be able to bolt the cylinder heads to your short block for an effortless upgrade!

Do I Need Anything Else For Installation?
While these cylinder heads can be installed on most Lightnings without the need for additional aftermarket parts, there are a few upgrades you may want to consider while you are upgrading your Heads.

• Valve Gasket Kit - Finish off the install of your new SVE Cylinder Heads with a fresh set of SVE short valve covers and rubber bonded valve cover gaskets. Also included in this kit is a new set of valve cover bolts for a complete installation.
• Rocker Arms - Complete your SVE Cylinder Head install with a set of new Rocker Arms. Aftermarket Rocker Arms reduce friction and allow your entire valvetrain to operate smoother than it came from the factory. This increased smoothness allows for more power output and increased response.
• Lifters - Install a new set of hydraulic roller lifters with your new SVE Cylinder Heads. This upgraded design allows for a much quieter lifter sound when operating, and will slightly increase power due to the reduced friction compared to the factory lifters.

Installation Note

• Valve Springs are rated up to .600 Lift, Piston to valve clearance MUST BE MEASURED & CHECKED on any cam greater than .500 lift to verify proper clearances.
• These heads have a 1/2" mounting hole for the head bolts/studs that allow them to be bolted on to a 5.8L/351W.For use on a 5.0L/302 or other Ford small block that utilizes a 7/16" bolt, head bolt reducer bushings will be needed.
• Will require the use of hardened push rods.
• These heads work with the after-market spark plug part number AGSP32CK.

• These cylinder heads DO NOT have the provisions for smog and, therefore are not 50 state legal.
