Please check piston to valve clearance before starting the engine. -These camshafts require custom computer tuning to maintain drivability and for the best power.
These camshafts require new valve springs! You can use Comp CCA-2611316 valve springs and CCA-79216 retainers, or the complete Trick Flow Upgrade kit TFS-2500500.
1999-2000 Mustang GT with Windsor motor had press on camshaft gears. These Trickflow Stage 1 cams require bolt-on camshaft gears. Use part number M6004462V to convert to bolt-on camshaft gears.

Improve engine performance while adding the classic lopey idle with these 1999-2004 Mustang GT Trickflow Track Max camshafts! Trickflow Track Max camshafts are built using premium blank cam cores that are heat-treated to the proper hardness, to ensure maximum performance. These camshafts have been dyno proven to produce a wide power curve over the entire RPM range which provides excellent horsepower and torque gains. Trick flow has designed these Track Max cams to operate between 1,500 RPM to 5,000 RPM by utilizing a .550" lift for increased engine performance. These Track Max camshafts have been manufactured with a 228/230 intake/exhaust duration to provide outstanding power gains along with a fair idle. Maximize the performance of your 1999-2004 Mustang GT with these Trickflow Track Max camshafts!
