This 1988 Fox Body Mustang LX was given a new chance on life over the past years. What started life as a rough ol' drag car as since been fixed up and put back together. Before the most recent makeover, the car was outfitted with an On3 turbo kit on the stock bottom-end 302 engine. It made good power and torque, but a head gasket ended up being the weak point.
 
The car received a fresh 393ci engine with a host of good parts to bring it all together! Sometimes, it's hard to beat some good old-fashioned naturally aspirated power.
