Converting your 4-lug Mustang to a 5-lug will allow the use of various wheels. This kit also restores braking performance thanks to the new 5-lug finned rear brake drum and slotted front 11" 5-lug brake rotor. Converting your 4-lug Mustang to 5-lug has never been easier with this all-in-one kit from 5.0 Resto. This kit utilizes high-quality hardened 1541H forged steel axles featuring Ford wheel bearings and seals. The axles in this kit are stock length 31 spline, with a 5" x 4.5" bolt pattern, which increases the torque capacity over the stock axles by 25%. This kit includes new wheel bearings, seals, wheel studs, friction modifier, and gear oil. Enhance not only the exterior appearance of your 1987-1993 Mustang with a set of 5-lug wheels but upgrade the braking performance of your Fox Body Mustang!

(2) Performance Slotted Five Lug 11" front rotors.
(2) Name brand 31 spline five lug rear axles* and drums.
(2) Inner and outer front wheel bearings.
(10) Standard-length rear wheel studs.

Fitment Notice

Fits ALL Mustangs equipped with an 86-93 8.8" rear end.
Although we have seen other wheels not listed above modified to fit this kit, we cannot guarantee correct fitment outside this list.
Some Mustangs may require front fender/fender-well modifications depending on tire size and ride height, especially 1987-90 because of the smaller wheel opening. 1991-93 Mustang has a larger fender opening but still may require modification. Modifications typically include trimming the fender and lower front spat for tire clearance and/or trimming the wheel well liner.
1979-86 Mustangs and 1987-93 2.3L Mustangs need to use 1987-93 5.0L spindles, struts, and calipers for this kit to work.
From the factory, your car came with a 28-spline differential. Upgrading to a 31-spline differential is required for this kit!
