5.0 Resto 1983-1997 Mustang Fuel Tank

This 1983-1997 Mustang 5.0 Resto fuel tank is a great replacement for rusted, damaged, or leaking gas tanks on Fox Body and SN95 Mustangs. It is made of stamped steel and has all of the pre-cut holes needed for all accessories. This gas tank is made for 1983-1997 Mustangs with electronic fuel injection (EFI). A pair of new lock rings and seals is included for both the fuel pump hole and the fuel sending unit hole. New fuel tank pads and seals are required for installation.

Notes:

This tank is not a direct replacement and may require modification and/or longer strap studs due to the larger tank design compared to the factory tank.
Pinch weld bends in the tank are intentional and are part of the manufacturing process to provide proper clearance for the tank straps and fuel tank cover.
1994-1997 applications will convert the factory lock ring from a 4-prong design to a 3-prong design. OEM lock rings will not work with this tank and the supplied lock rings must be used.
