Lower your Fox Body's ride height and improve handling with this SVE suspension kit featuring Bilstein B6 shocks for the hardtop 1987-1993 Mustang 5.0's! The SVE sway bars strike a good balance for a daily or street-driven Mustang, while still performing well on the track. Reducing body roll improves handling and lateral stability during cornering, but also helps with straight-line stability. SVE Mustang lowering springs are designed to provide a lowered stance and firmer, more responsive ride, these springs are proudly made in the USA by a leading suspension manufacturer and built to SVE’s exact specifications for exceptional performance and appearance. Bilstein's B6 HD series shock and strut kit will tighten up your suspension for increased handling, thanks to the increased dampening rate. Bilstein has specifically designed, developed, tested, and tuned these parts for that exact purpose.

Do I Need Anything Else For Installation?
While these springs can be installed on most Mustangs without the need of additional parts, there are a few things you want to consider when installing Mustang lowering springs.

Caster Camber Plates - When lowering your Mustang, your suspension geometry will change. This will cause your front end’s alignment to become out of spec, leading to uneven tire wear. A set of caster camber plates will allow you to easily align your Mustang correctly.
Bumpsteer Kit - Complete your SVE upgrade with a bump steer kit. Lowering a Mustang can cause bump steer - the tendency for the wheel of a car to change directions when you hit a bump. This easy-to-install kit replaces your factory tie rods with heavy duty, spherical rod ends that adjust and correct your suspension geometry to prevent bump steer.
Spring Isolators - Replace your stock worn-out rubber spring isolators with urethane or rubber spring isolator kits! The main purpose of the spring isolator is to reduce noise associated with the suspension going through its normal range of motion.

Bushing Lubrication

The suspension bushings included with this part can only be lubricated with PTFE grease, also referred to as "Marine Grease". PTFE grease is a very sticky, opaque grease that is water proof and will not degrade the bushing material. If lubed properly at installation, these bushings will not need to be lubricated again. Use of any other grease on these bushings will cause the bushing to fail and any bushing warranty to be voided.

Fits 1987-1993 Mustang 5.0 (V8 Spindles Only)
WILL fit 1979-1986 Mustang if 1987-1993 5.0 spindles are used during installation.
Due to weight differences, LMR does not recommend installing these springs on a convertible. Convertibles have extra weight added from increased bracing, the convertible top frame, and top motors that result in these springs dropping the car more than advertised.
