SVE Hydroboost Conversion Kit - Modular/Coyote - Auto Pedal
Upgrade the braking performance of your automatic-equipped Modular or Coyote-swapped Fox Body Mustang with SVE’s new hydroboost conversion kit! Unlike traditional vacuum-assisted systems, this kit uses power steering pressure to provide brake assist. Swapping parts from other vehicles has long been a staple in hot rodding, and the hydroboost system from 1999-2004 Mustangs is a proven solution for Fox Body conversions. It delivers factory-like pedal feel, even with performance upgrades like larger piston calipers or rear disc brakes, and provides the necessary clearance for the wider cylinder heads of Modular and Coyote engines. SVE has compiled all of the major components needed to make this kit as turn-key as possible. The only other piece you'll need is the conversion hard lines at the master cylinder linked below, as they depend on the year of your Fox Body. Simply add the one for your year Mustang along with this hydroboost conversion kit for a complete, ready-to-install hydroboost conversion kit for Mustang enthusiasts.

SVE Hydroboost Pump & Pedal Assembly
The specifically modified hydroboost pump mates up to the Fox Body firewall with minimal work. It has a black-painted finish and utilizes an adjustable push rod along with brand-new components inside and out. All of the mounting studs retain the factory thread pitch and come with the new mounting nuts and spacer plate. This new hydroboost unit also includes a billet distribution block that features all of the correct threaded port locations for the SVE hydroboost conversion lines to attach to. SVE includes a new brake pedal arm designed to work specifically with the new hydroboost unit to maintain proper alignment. Also included are the necessary firewall spacer, all needed hardware, and a new firewall seal to finish out your hydroboost install. Once installed, it lines up in the OE pedal location, and the supplied pedal pad keeps it looking factory. Everything works together to pair up with the included New Edge brake master cylinder for great pedal feel and effort.

Fitment Notice

Will fit 1979 Mustang if using 1980-1993 Mustang brake proportioning valve.
Hose kit only fits Power by the Hour speed drive kits. Will not fit KRC.
Due to the longer length of the hydroboost system, it may come in contact with strut tower braces.
Intended for 4-wheel disk brakes only, will not work with drum rear brakes.
For use with disc brakes ONLY. Not recommended for use with drum brakes.
