Ford Performance PI Intake Manifold M-9424-P46A
Replace your broken or cracked intake manifold with this updated 1999-2004 Mustang GT intake from Ford Performance! The factory GT intake manifold had a plastic coolant crossover that eventually cracked over time, causing increased heat and wear to your engine. Ford Performance has now updated this intake manifold with a new runner design and tooling used to bring back a PI Intake Manifold. One of the largest improvements was to update the gaskets on the intake to more modern integrated O-ring seals for an easy installation without extra gaskets needed. Another major improvement was the change to an all-aluminum coolant crossover with two sensor bungs, which works with multiple applications. All mounting locations are reinforced and have metal threaded inserts for the fuel rail, coil packs, and lower intake plenum, compared to threading into plastic like other aftermarket options. Ford Performance also includes a new 195* thermostat, thermostat gasket, and alternator bracket.

What Else Do I Need To Install The PI Intake Manifold?
  • This Intake Manifold comes with pre-installed gaskets, so you will NOT need to purchase gaskets separately.
  • You will need to utilize our Alternator Bracket with this PI intake manifold IF your Mustang is not already equipped with an aluminum crossover intake manifold.
  • If installing on a 1999-early 2001 Mustang GT, along with our Alternator Bracket, you will need to replace the thermostat housing bolts with the 2001-2004 Thermostat Housing bolts.
