Silver 5-Lug Pony Wheel & Tire Kit
This 1979-1993 Mustang silver pony wheel kit is the perfect way to get your Foxbody looking new again! The Pony wheel is one of the most popular for 79-93 Mustangs. This wheel kit features a 17" diameter to clear bigger brakes and fill the wheel wells. The staggered sizes provide increased traction over the factory wheels. The wheels come in a silver finish and with Ford-licensed center caps.

Sumitomo HTR Z5
This Sumitomo HTR Z5 tire offers an aggressive, directional tread pattern to offer superior traction in dry or wet road conditions. The HTR Z5 molds a high-performance tread compound featuring ultra micro carbon technology and silica-based rubber into a directional pattern with wide, arched tread blocks to enhance dry road traction and handling. Like all summer tires, the HTR Z5 is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Center Cap Color

The Ford Licensed Silver Pony Center Caps are painted to correct OE specs. From the factory, the center cap was not 100% a perfect match to the aluminum pony wheel. The shade being off is factory correct and perfectly normal.

Fox Spindle Wheels - Clearance Notes

1979-93 Mustang (All):
- Steering rack limiters May be needed to eliminate rubbing issues when turning the front wheel.
- It may require a front 8MM spacer to keep the grease cap from pushing out the center cap.
- Rear quad shocks may need to be reversed or removed for proper fitment. Please check for clearance issues before driving the car.
- Installation of wheels that are wider than the factory wheels on the rear of your Mustang may require fender clearance and exhaust modification for proper fitment.
1979-86 Mustang (All) - Requires a front-wheel spacer OR upgrading to 1987-1993 5.0 struts, spindles & brakes.
1979-90 Mustang (All) - Due to smaller front wheel openings, installing wheels or tires wider than the factory may require additional clearance on front fenders.
1987-93 Mustang (2.3L) - Requires a front-wheel spacer OR upgrading to 1987-1993 5.0 struts, spindles & brakes.
