Transport your Fox Body back to true 90s styling and a period-correct look with this Flow Formed gunmetal 5-lug 1979-1993 Mustang 17x8/9 SVE S89 wheel and Nitto tire kit! This 5-lug wheel is the perfect throwback to the early '90s era performance and authentic styling. Featuring a wide, stepped 5 spoke design with round lug openings at the apex of the corners, these attributes give the wheel its signature styling, which beautifully complements the sharp lines of your Fox Body. Included with this kit are a set of spline drive, chrome lug nuts that have an extended length to sit flush in the lug cavity. Completed in a gloss gunmetal finish wrapped in a machined lip, this unmistakable wheel will look great on any color Mustang! Also featured in this kit are Nitto NT555 G2 tires in 245/45R17 front and 275/40R17 rear tire sizes for superior traction and everyday driving!

Flow Formed Construction
SVE carefully measured every section of this wheel to provide a perfect fit on your Fox Body Mustang. From the backspacing and offset to the width and diameter, it is tailored specifically for your Fox Body. SVE's S89 wheel is our first Fox Body wheel constructed using the flow formed process. After casting, the wheel is then flow formed with hydraulic rollers that apply intense pressure to the barrel to increase tensile strength. Flow forming provides greater shock resistance and load capacity, and results in a very strong, lightweight wheel versus heavier, cast-aluminum wheels. Working with both standard Fox Body 5 lug rotor swaps as well as SN95 style brake conversions, clearing the large 1994-04 13" Cobra brake conversions. SVE backs this wheel with an industry-leading warranty for the ultimate peace of mind.

Nitto NT555 G2 Tires

This kit comes pre-mounted and balanced with Nitto NT555 G2 tires. This summer ultra-high-performance tire is designed with the performance driver in mind. The new Nitto G2 has increased traction, handling, and wet-braking capabilities to help you get off the line quicker and give your Mustang stability in the straights and confidence when cornering.

Saleen Fitment Disclaimer
Want to put SVE S89 wheels on a genuine Fox Body Saleen? Because factory Saleen Mustangs came equipped with a rear-disc brake setup, the S89 wheels will not directly fit the factory Saleen rear brake configuration. To run S89 wheels on a factory Saleen, the rear brakes must be converted to an SN95-style rear-disc setup that maintains the Fox Body rear track width. This requires an SVE 5-lug rear-disc brake conversion kit along with Fox-length 5-lug rear axles. The result is an SN95-style rear-disc setup using Fox-length axles, allowing the S89 wheels to maintain the proper fitment and track width on the Saleen chassis.

Required for factory Saleen applications:

SVE/SN95-style rear-disc brake conversion
Fox-length 5-lug rear axles
SVE S89 wheels

Important: The S89 wheels are not compatible with the factory Saleen rear-disc brake setup. Do not attempt to install the wheels without verifying brake and wheel clearance.

1979-1993 Mustang Front Wheel Clearance Notes

1979-93 Mustang (All):
- Steering rack limiters may be needed to eliminate rubbing issues when turning the front wheel.
- May require a front 8mm spacer to keep the grease cap from pushing out the center cap.
1979-86 Mustang (All) - Requires an 8mm front-wheel spacer OR upgrading to 1987-1993 5.0 struts, spindles & brakes.
1987-93 Mustang (2.3L) - Requires an 8mm front-wheel spacer OR upgrading to 1987-1993 5.0 struts, spindles & brakes.
1979-90 Mustang (All) - Due to smaller front wheel openings, installing wheels or tires wider than the factory may require additional clearance on front fenders such as rolling fenders and modifying splash shield.

1979-1993 Mustang Rear Wheel Clearance Notes

1984-1993 (All):
- Rear quad shocks may need to be reversed or removed for proper fitment. Please check for clearance issues before driving the car.

- Installation of wheels that are wider than the factory wheels on the rear of your Mustang may require inner fender clearance and exhaust modification for proper fitment.

Will NOT fit SVO or 1993 Cobra with factory rear disc brake applications.
These wheels will NOT clear ATS Brembo, 2000 Cobra R brakes, or M-2300-X Brembo brakes.
