Looking to shed some of that unwanted weight on your 1994-2004 Ford Mustang while at the drag strip? This Dark Stainless SVE drag wheel kit is the perfect way to accomplish just that! This SVE wheel kit features two 17x4.5 front runners with two 15x10's out back. Not only will it save you some weight, but they look great too. We've refined this wheel by making installation hassle-free by utilizing a hub-centric wheel. No washers to lose or shank lug nuts to complicate bolting them on, simply use acorn style nuts for quick changes at the track. Why Drag Wheels?
Switching to SVE Mustang drag wheels reduces weight and allows for track-specific, performance tires to be mounted on your Mustang. The front SVE wheels, known as front-runners, are skinnier than regular wheels to keep your front end as light as possible. The rear wheels are offered in 10" to mount wider tires, drag radials, or slicks for more traction. This allows you to launch harder and improve your ET's at the track.

The Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S Radial line is specifically designed for modern performance cars that require bigger wheel diameters for brake clearance. This tire features a soft compound for superior traction on the drag strip, while the radial construction allows for excellent ride control on the street. Constructed with polyester ply and steel belts for strength and durability.

Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R Tire
If you are looking for a great performing Mustang front runner tire, this Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R frontrunner is the perfect solution. A modern-day version of the classic Sportsman tire, this 26x6x17 S/R frontrunner features radial construction and a unique flamed tread pattern. This ensures you get improved wet traction for those unexpected rainy days. Matches perfectly to Sportsman rears!

When using longer than factory studs, an open end lug nut is required.

Drag Radial Disclaimer

All Drag Radial tires are designed for drag racing use. While Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial tires, Nitto NT05R, and NT555R2 meet Department of Transportation requirements for marking and performance, they are recommended for DRY PAVEMENT USE ONLY. It is not recommended that radial and non-radial tires be mixed on the same vehicle.
Due to the composition and design of soft compound tires, ride and handling can be different than standard compound tires. This includes but not limited to tracking, vibrations, and/or a floating sensation.

1979-1993 Mustang Front Wheel Clearance Notes

1979-93 Mustang (All):
- Steering rack limiters may be needed to eliminate rubbing issues when turning the front wheel.
- May require a front 8mm spacer to keep the grease cap from pushing out the center cap.
1979-86 Mustang (All) - Requires an 8mm front-wheel spacer OR upgrading to 1987-1993 5.0 struts, spindles & brakes.
1987-93 Mustang (2.3L) - Requires an 8mm front-wheel spacer OR upgrading to 1987-1993 5.0 struts, spindles & brakes.
1979-90 Mustang (All) - Due to smaller front wheel openings, installing wheels or tires wider than the factory may require additional clearance on front fenders such as rolling fenders and modifying splash shield.

1979-1993 Mustang Rear Wheel Clearance Notes

1984-1993 (All):
- Rear quad shocks may need to be reversed or removed for proper fitment. Please check for clearance issues before driving the car.
- See our Quad Shock Flip Article for more information on this procedure.
- Installation of wheels that are wider than the factory wheels on the rear of your Mustang may require inner fender clearance and exhaust modification for proper fitment.

1994-2004 Mustang Wheel Clearance Notes

Rear Quad Shocks
- Rear quad shock may need to be reversed or removed for proper fitment. Please check for clearance before driving.

1999-2004 Mustang Cobra/IRS Equipped (All)

17"/18" wheels may require Low Profile IRS Subframe Bolts for proper clearance.
An 1/8" Wheel Spacer may be required to ensure the rear center caps are adequately secured.

Front Fitment Notice
- Will fit Fox Body 5 Lug Front Rotor.
- Will fit 94-04 SN95 V6, GT, Cobra, Mach 1, and Bullitt Front Brakes.

Rear Fitment Notice
- Will fit Fox Body 5 Lug rear conversion kits.
- Fits the 1994-2004 Mustang GT/V6 w/ stock 10.5" rear brakes.
- This wheel is specifically designed as a rear wheel ONLY. It will NOT fit on the front of your Mustang.
- Will NOT fit 1999-2004 Cobra, Mach 1, or Bullitt with stock 11.65" brakes. Will NOT fit V6 or GT with Cobra 11.65" brake conversion. These wheels are NOT recommended to be used with the following applications: 1994-2004 Mustang Cobra, Mach 1, or Bullitt. While we do NOT recommend these wheels be used in the aforementioned applications. Modifying the IRS outer tie rod and the knuckle for clearance would be required. IRS applications will need low-profile subframe bolts. All Cobra, Bullitt, and Mach 1 rear brakes require low-profile banjo bolts and/or grinding to the block.
